A Celebration of Culinary Excellence
On Monday, June 15, the
Impérial Palace had the honour of hosting an iconic event in French gastronomy: the
official presentation of the MICHELIN Guide plaques and
Bib Gourmand awards to the distinguished restaurants of our region. Organised by
METRO, a long-standing partner of the
MICHELIN Guide, in collaboration with Vincent Deforce, Michelin-starred Chef of Le Cin5 in La Clusaz, the ceremony brought together chefs, restaurateurs, partners and hospitality professionals from
Haute-Savoie, united by a shared passion for culinary excellence.
Beyond the presentation of the awards, the event celebrated the expertise, dedication and creativity of the women and men who contribute to the reputation of our region through their cuisine. It was a moment of sharing and conviviality, greatly appreciated by industry professionals, in an environment that encouraged exchanges and showcased local gastronomy.
PVG Group’s Event Expertise
For the teams at the Impérial Palace, hosting such an event is a true mark of recognition. Tailor-made receptions, exceptional service quality, warm hospitality and expert event management: this gathering once again highlighted our teams’ know-how in supporting large-scale events, whether professional, cultural or gastronomic.
The cocktail reception following the ceremony also provided an opportunity to showcase the richness and complementary talents of the
PVG Group. For the occasion, the Chefs and culinary teams from several of the group's establishments, including the
Impérial Palace Annecy,
Le Pélican Hotel,
Beauregard Hotel and
Au Cœur du Village Hotel, combined their expertise to create a refined culinary experience that reflected the unique identity of each establishment.
Le Cin5 and Chef Vincent Deforce in the Spotlight
This celebration also provided an opportunity to honour the
PVG Group’s Michelin-starred restaurant:
Le Cin5, located within the Au Cœur du Village Hotel in La Clusaz. Awarded one MICHELIN Star in 2024, Le Cin5 offers a unique sensory experience where Savoyard flavours meet the influences of the Indian Ocean.
At the helm of the kitchens,
Chef Vincent Deforce embodies a vision of gastronomy that is both demanding, creative and deeply human. Originally from Belgium, he built his career in renowned establishments before joining the PVG Group, where he steadily progressed to become Executive Chef of Le Cœur and Le Cin5 restaurants.
His culinary universe draws its richness from both his personal and professional journey. Influenced by several years spent in Mauritius, he creates cuisine that subtly combines the finest products from our mountains with the spices, aromas and inspirations of the Indian Ocean. This unique identity, combined with impeccable technical expertise and remarkable sensitivity to flavour, has become the signature of Le Cin5 today.
Shared Values in the Service of Gastronomy
Hosting this ceremony at the Impérial Palace meant bringing together in one place the values that define great gastronomy: passion, transmission, excellence and sharing. A wonderful illustration of our establishment’s commitment to supporting those who uphold and promote the excellence of French cuisine.
