After a break in 2024, the Annecy Lake Festival is making its grand comeback on Saturday, August 2, 2025 — much to the delight of residents and visitors alike. The Casino Impérial is proud and honored to partner as an official sponsor of this unmissable summer event in Annecy.
A legacy of the grand Venetian-style celebrations held in 1860 to welcome Napoleon III, the Fête du Lac has stood the test of time, evolving with each generation to become one of the largest pyrotechnic shows in Europe. Nearly 200,000 spectators are expected to gather along the lake’s shores to witness this magical evening of sound, light, and emotion.
For this 2025 edition, the City of Annecy and the fireworks company Arteventia — who also created the July 14, 2024 show — are presenting a brand-new spectacle entitled “Ode to the Moon”. This artistic creation, composed of six acts, invites the audience on a poetic journey celebrating the forces of nature and the beauty of human connection.
The public will experience a powerful and immersive 70-minute show featuring fireworks, water effects, lights, lasers, batucadas, and aerial luminéoles. The show will be set to a rich musical score (30 tracks) and guided by the deep and iconic voice of narrator Benoît Allemane. At the helm is master pyrotechnician Édouard Grégoire, promising a truly emotional, cross-generational experience.
