Jazz concerts in Annecy
Located in an idyllic setting on the shores of magnificent Lake Annecy, the Hip Bar invites you to experience unforgettable musical evenings. Every week, our bar is transformed into a jazz stage, for evenings of relaxation and pleasure.
Whether in our cosy lounge or on our terrace with its breathtaking view of the lake on sunny days, let yourself be carried away by the haunting melodies of jazz while enjoying an aperitif, a sharing plank or a drink with friends.
Our weekly program is carefully orchestrated by the talents of Kristin Marion and Philippe Martel, two jazz icons. Together, they form an exceptional duo who know how to captivate and enchant their audiences thanks to their perfect mastery of swing, their musical sensitivity and their communicative energy. They are not only artists, but true ambassadors of jazz, regularly performing on the most prestigious stages in Europe and the United States.
They are also the programmers of “Les Impériales du Jazz” at the Impérial Annecy Festival, a cultural event held twice a year at the Impérial Palace.
Jazz events not to be missed
Every week, the Hip Jazz Club opens its doors to you from Thursday to Saturday, to showcase a renowned artist during three musical sets, ideally designed to accompany your moments of conviviality:
- 6pm - 6:45pm: First set
- 7pm - 7:45pm: Second set
- 8pm - 8:30pm: Last set
Admission is free, allowing all jazz fans, whether neophytes or enthusiasts, to enjoy these moments of live music in an exceptional setting.
Quality jazz programm
Kristin Marion, renowned for her incredible talent as a jazz, blues and gospel singer, has conquered hearts on both sides of the Atlantic with her inimitable swing, unique vocal timbre and surprising improvisations. She is accompanied by Philippe Martel, a renowned Franco-Canadian jazz pianist, with whom she shares a perfect musical osmosis. Both are official French representatives of the Jazz Education Network (USA).
Together, they have made the Hip Bar a must for jazz lovers in Annecy. Their complicity and talent will transport you for an evening, where emotion and musicality are always on the agenda.
